This workshop will show faculty how to use the collaborative online annotation tool Hypothesis (integrated into Moodle) in order to engage students in social reading and writing practices. You will learn how to integrate annotation exercises into your assignments and course.

By the end of the workshop, you will have several concrete ideas of how you can use Hypothesis to help your students do the assigned reading, prepare better for class, and participate more actively in class discussions.
