The Krikor Soghikian Public Health Reference Room honors the contributions of Dr. Krikor Soghikian, MD, MPH, to the field of public health and to the American University of Armenia’s Master of Public Health Program.
Dedicated in October 1999, the Soghikian Reference Room houses a small but growing collection consisting of major Public Health reference materials, including copies of all MPH student theses and research reports prepared by the Center for Health Services Research. The library holds MEDLINE on CD as well as a number of other multimedia resources. The holdings of the Soghikian Reference Room are indexed in the AGBU Papazian Library electronic catalog.
The Soghikian Reference room is the first step in developing a professional resource and learning center for AUA Public health students and graduates as well as the larger professional public health community.
The Reference Room is open during normal departmental hours.
