The Library provides books, periodicals, audiovisual material which students can find through the Library Catalog, in addition to online resources that support the learning and research needs of students and faculty. 

Online References and Databases

“Moodle” is a learning platform or course management system (CMS).  http://moodle.aua.am/

“Turnitin” is online software that provides the instructors with the tools to prevent plagiarism, engage the students in the writing process, and provide personalized feedback. Turnitin is integrated with Moodle as a plugin that enables the faculty to create Moodle based Turnitin Assignments.

“RefManager” is online research management, writing and citation tool. It is designed to help students easily gather, manage, store and share information, as well as generate citations from online databases such as EBSCO, JSTOR, etc., library catalog and other sources. http://library.aua.am/research-help/citation-tools/

“Koha” Journal Finder offers a central access point for electronic journals of the AUA Library at  http://jf.aua.am/

“Grammarly Premium” is an online English writing enhancement platform that checks for grammar and spelling mistakes, detects plagiarism and encourages a professional writing style. Check with the library for login information.

Information Literacy/Library Instruction. Library offers library instructions, guided tours and in-class orientations throughout the academic year, generally upon the request of a faculty member. Check the library Events Calendar for scheduled sessions, or request a customized library session by filling and submitting this form.

ILL/Interlibrary Document Delivery supply. Library staff will obtain journal articles and book chapters not held in the library. This service is available for AUA faculty, staff and students. You can request an article or a book chapter by filling and submitting this form.
